The photo on the left was taken just moments after Russ lost his first baby tooth (lower right incisor) on April 9, 2006. He has since lost a second tooth (the other lower incisor) on May 4, 2006.

Recent Accomplishments	Passed the beginner level 4 swimming test at Canyon pool in El Sobrante. Registered for advanced beginners class. Confidently rides bike without training wheels up to a mile or two at a stretch. Started getting weekly allowance ($2.00). Using all proceeds to fund new video game purchases. Counts up to 49 (with just a little help). Can write numbers up to 4.
Favorite activities	Watching videos of his favorite movies. Playing with others. Playing video games. favs include Ben Ten, various web-based games accessible via Gameblast such as Speed Racer (ressurrected from the TV show Mom and Dad watched in the '70s), and Alien Shooter (played only with Dad's supervision and participation ;-) Coloring and placing stickers in various books, especially dinosaurs, snakes, other animals. Reading books with Mom & Dad (various stuff including: My Father's Dragon (and other Elmer dragon books by R. Gannett) The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin Your Big Backyard magazine Franklin Dr. Seuss Collecting and sorting various objects (rocks, coins, beads) TV Shows Xiaolin Showdown Dragon Tales Clifford Caillou Jackie Chan Adventures Zoboomafoo Various classics like: Tarzan, Shrek, Aladdin, Pinocchio, The Iron Giant, Treasure Planet, Wallace and Gromit
Favorite toy	Lego and Duplo blocks, Tinker toys, Bionicles, Matchbox cars
Favorite food	Dino chicken nuggets with ketchup and apple juice.
Least favorite activities	Playing alone Brushing teeth (getting less onerous) Cleaning anything up
